Being born with cerebral palsy, and being told that you’ll never walk or talk. This was the reality for Tim (name changed), an individual who embodies the spirit of determination and resilience. Despite the odds being stacked against him, Tim defied expectations and learned to communicate through assistive technology. With the support of his family and caregivers, Tim pursued his passion for music and became a talented percussionist.
Tim’s story is a testament to the power of inclusion and accessibility. With the right support and accommodations, individuals with disabilities can achieve their dreams and make valuable contributions to society. However, the journey to inclusion is not without its challenges. People with disabilities continue to face significant obstacles in their daily lives, from inaccessible infrastructure to discriminatory attitudes.
